A Bombshell Re-enters the Villa

me running into you guys’ arms because it’s been way too longggg. I’ve missed my girls and I’m ready to go for a chat.

In all honesty y’all, the last few years have been a battle. I’ve been silently going through some highs and lows. Ultimately, it always leads me back to being grateful that God got me through it all, and through it all, I still have my internet girlies. PPG4L right? I’m gonna give you the highlights because baby I don’t have time to dwell on the negativity, okay?

So I experienced my first viral moment in 2024 with a Love Island video no less. LOL I’ve been watching that show since 2020 and the obsession continues. Last year we experienced THE BEST season of Love Island USA I think we will EVER have. Serena, Jana and Leah quickly became the public’s faves, even post-Island. The first one was about Kordell, the second was about you guys’ favorite Aussie babe, Liv. If you care to see them, I hyperlinked them for ya babes. You’re welcome. AND BEFORE YOU SAY IT IN THE COMMENTS, YES! I KNOW LIV IS ONLY LIKE 5’7 BUT I’M 5’1 SO “AMAZONIAN BABE” IS ACCURATE FOR ME. LOL PLEASE!

PCOS tried to take out your favorite gworl [insert Miley clip here, IYKYK], but I’m on my way to being healthy. I just recently created a plan with my doctor that I’m comfortable following through on, and I can’t wait to see the results. That’s that on that.

This is year 3 of me doing the best I can with what I got! OHHH. Remember when I told y’all I got laid off in 2022? Well, in 2023 I started working at the best social media agency in DURHAM (you already know), The Social Hive! The job, the boss lady, the girls I work with - 10/10 heavily recommend. It’s one of my best decisions to work with a team of women of color. I did some crazy growing in my knowledge of social media, but especially relationship building in the professional world, in the world of entrepreneurship. Relationships are SO valuable, and you’ll see just how personal business REALLY is.

Chile, I moved back home in 11/2024 because $1600 rent wasn’t allowing me to be buy my happiness. I absolutely loved my little 794 sq. ft. apartment but it was time to transition into a space where I could actually think. I experienced so much stress trying to make that spot work financially, and it was robbing me of my health, peace (because the neighbors above and on the other side of my bedroom wall were Shreks & I’m not even kidding), and my ability to enjoy what was my dream apartment. Guys', I’m not even kidding. I literally had like a hundred videos and voice recordings of how hard my neighbors upstairs would stomp around. I even called the authorities on ‘em once.

It was my 3rd year living there at that point so it was time to go because obviously they (Hawthorne Residential Partners) hate me and don’t want me to live, and most importantly SLEEP in peace. Don’t live at any of their properties guys. This is not isolated. Go look at their reviews.

Anyway, I decided to give this blogging thing another go, and more consistently. I missed having a place to spill tea, get some tea and yap, encourage and inspire the girls. My 2025 goals are gonna have to see me, starting with blogging at least once a week. I didn’t even know this was a goal till now, so you guys are my accountability partners. See you on the next episode of

Love Island: DURHAM.
