HELPLESS, BUT NOT HOPELESS

I need to address this. In times like these, we need to remember that all hope is not lost. If you believe in who I believe, being hopeless isn’t a thing. Yes, it is a real emotion, but allowing yourself to dwell in it is powerful and detrimental to your faith. Faith is important.
Leah, I hope this encourages you.
In my last post, I talked about there being a time and season for everything. This is our season of war (there are several kinds going on right now). It is our season of determining what “side” we’re on. Humanity, morals, principles vs. Inhumanity, vindication. To me, the choice is easy, and it’s clear which side is right. To others, not so much. We only begin to feel hopeless when what he hope for isn’t solid. I am not hoping for all men and women to understand the severity of racism, or the need for proper healthcare. I don’t put my hope in people at all, because people are flawed; the truth is not.
My advice:
hold tight to the truth you KNOW is self-evident (can you prove it to yourself), clear, purposeful and real.
Xoxo, chelle
