Black Woman, Black Man - You've Got Mail!

I wrote this as a reflection of how I feel as a Black woman. I wanted to remind us of these things. It’s shining light on how strong Black men are, because of how strong Black WOMEN are. They quite literally need us... I am a Black woman and I’ve held up men at their weakest, only to be forgotten. This is not a think piece of an overly-poetic way of saying, “Pick me!” This is simply an affirmation, and confirmation, I wrote for my Black peers, to remind us who we are and who really has our back.
